Every great invention - from carousels to roller coasters, started with something simple.
Gear Imagineer hands kids the building blocks of mechanical engineering: interlocking gears of different sizes, assembled into a working spinning machine with characters that move as the handle turns.
Along the way, kids explore simple machines, wheel-and-axle mechanics, force and friction, and how gear size changes speed and direction of movement. The background scene is reversible, so kids can build two different stories into one machine.
